Our Mission Call

We received our mission call on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, to the Germany Berlin Mission working in the Young Adult Centers. Our family was there when we opened our missionary packet. Of course, we were most anxious to see where we were going and when, but then as we read the letter aloud, it was hard to not feel that flood of emotion come when you realize that this is a call from the Prophet of God to serve the Lord. We both hope we'll be able to serve the Young Adults in Germany both members and non-members, and perhaps help them come closer to the Savior.

  1. This blog looks great. We are so excited for you both. We are anxious for you to get to Germany, but are so glad we get a little more time with you both.

  2. I can't wait to read many, many more posts on this blog. You two are going to make a wonderful team in Germany. I will miss you a lot, but I look forward to my own testimony being stregnthened through your experiences. Love you lots!

  3. Congratulations on the mission call! You two will be great in Berlin! What an amazing thing you are doing!!!! I know I haven't seen you in a long time, but I have great memories of you both....and the thing that has always stood out in my mind is your kindness and love! Germany will be so lucky to have you there!!!! Love you guys!

  4. So excited and will follow the blog to keep up with your service. What an exciting time and Germany is so lucky to get you. My husband and I served with the Young Single Adults and it was one of the most rewarding and spiritual times in our life. Love and best wishes to you both!

  5. I am so excited for you. What a wonderful experience you will have. I love the blog layout and I will look forward to your missionary posts. We do need to talk or even go to lunch or perhaps diner with our husbands. Let me know if that is possible. Love to you both!
